The second edition of 'From the stage to reality' exceeded every expectation, confirming the growing interest and effectiveness of the project. The number of students participating more than doubled (+128%) from 6 schools and 603 students to 11 schools and 1,376 participants in 2025. This allowed many more young people to attend two performances in Syracuse free of charge: "Oedipus at Colonus" and "Electra." The request for tickets also increased significantly, from 1,157 in 2024 to 2,128 in 2025. An achievement that celebrates the power of theater to educate and engage.
The presentation of the second edition, on April 10, 2025 at the Teatro Quirino in Rome, was a special moment. Here, students from Marcus Tullius Cicero, Julius Caesar and Farnesina high schools had the unique opportunity to tread a prestigious stage, bringing their adaptations of ancient texts such as "Oedipus the King" and "Lysistrata." An unforgettable experience to put themselves to the test and experience theater as a protagonist.
In the audience, watching and supporting their fellow students, were more than 800 students from the other Roman schools involved in the project: Pilo Albertelli, Julius Caesar, Marcus Tullius Cicero, Farnesina, Terenzio Mamiani, Luciano Manara, Bertrand Russell, Sant'Apollinare, Tommaso Salvini, Torquato Tasso, and Via di Ripetta.
"We take young people on a journey through Greek theater with Electra and Oedipus. These ancient tragedies still speak today, prompting us to reflect on fate and justice. Theater is life experience-we encourage the younger generation to be protagonists. Culture is the key to understanding the past and building the future."

"Fondazione Oltre focuses on youth, families and education. The project was created to educate with Greek tragedy, supporting schools and families so that culture is not a privilege. We believe that educating with art is an act of confidence in the future, to stimulate young people to question and put themselves to the test."

"Thanks to the support of Fondazione Oltre, INDA will again this year offer thousands of Roman students tickets to the 60th Season at the Greek Theater. Our theater program will thus engage the younger generation, contributing to their education and enabling them to tap into the richness of classical heritage through the talent of international artists."
