At Rome's Auditorium della Conciliazione, the exceptional guest Alessandro D’Avenia – professor and writer – guided the young students on an intimate journey into catharsis and personal growth, drawing from Greek tragedy. His words stirred their restless hearts, building a bridge between the ancient world and everyday life.
The unforgettable highlight was the special reading: for the first time sharing the stage, actor Vinicio Marchioni and D’Avenia brought passages from Homer's Odyssey to life. Here, literary analysis blended seamlessly with dramatic performance, crafting a one-of-a-kind experience that captivated everyone.
Adding even more magic to the morning, the students from the theater workshops at Liceo Mamiani, Tasso, and Ripetta shared their fresh, authentic talent through contemporary adaptations of classic texts and characters, lighting up the stage with pure passion.
After these three preparatory gatherings in Rome, the young participants are now ready for their adventure in Syracuse, with stronger hearts and eyes brimming with wonder.
