Alcestis by Euripides
In this webinar, we take you on a journey into Euripides’ Alcestis, which will open the Classical Performance Season at the Greek Theatre of Syracuse on 8 May 2026.
Four distinguished voices discuss the opera: Filippo Dini, director of the production; Marina Valensise, Executive Board Member of the INDA Foundation; Deniz Ozdogan, who plays Alcestis; and Elena Fabbro, the translator of Euripides’ text from Greek. It is a dialogue between theatre, philology, and performance that offers an introduction to the production, which will run until 6 June 2026.
