Alessandro D’Avenia PhD in Classical Literature, teaches literature at high school and is a screenwriter. The author of highly successful novels, his debut novel, Bianca come il latte, rossa come il sangue (Mondadori, 2010) was adapted into a film of the same name in 2013. The author has adapted his last three works into theatrical pieces that have toured Italy, selling out. Every Monday he talks to readers from the pages of "Corriere della Sera" in the "Ultimo banco" column. His books have been translated all over the world.
