Bringing cinema to the suburbs, working-class neighborhoods, and inland villages—areas where cultural offerings have historically been scarce.
This is the goal of Schermi – Cinema Multipiazza, a project launched and managed since 2018 by the association Divina Mania. It is a free film series and a way to revitalize public squares, foster interaction and dialogue among people, and build a sense of community.
We have chosen to support the project for 2026, thereby helping to encourage civic participation, promote social inclusion, and reintroduce younger generations to the meaning of community.
School as a place for growth, dialogue, and discovery
Family, friendship, and the value of togetherness
Human dignity, explored through the debate on the caporalato (illegal labor brokerage) phenomenon
The beauty of the Italian provinces, showcased through stories of the regions and the communities that inhabit them
Technology as a tool to be used with awareness
The films selected for screening revolve around these themes; furthermore, a prominent figure from the film world will be present each evening to offer commentary and food for thought.
